History
The history of the Gloriette brand dates back to 1863, when the Hönigsberg brothers sewed shirts from home. Their excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail spread by word of mouth, and the demand for the brothers' shirts grew.
In 1886, they opened the first industrial production facility in the 15th district of Vienna.
The proximity to Schönbrunn Palace and the view of the Gloriette inspired them to dedicate their linen products to this noble name. This was the beginning of Gloriette's successful career.
In 1938, the company was acquired by the Ganahl family, who successfully moved it to a new location and significantly expanded it.
From 2000 to 2011, the branch network was expanded and a franchise concept was introduced. On March 17, 2015, the company was placed under the patronage of Lambert Hofer and re-established as Gloriette Fashion GmbH.
For more than 125 years, we have been perfecting our expertise day after day. We look back with pride on our history and ambitiously towards our future. We know how to make a truly good shirt. A shirt that will still be fashionable in 125 years.
